Job DescriptionStairlift Engineer jobs in Manchester at Stannah – join the team! We are recruiting a qualified Stairlift Engineer to join a market-leading family-run business. This role is suitable for someone with experience in the lift industry who will work on the domestic side.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Stairlift Engineer or Domestic Engineer within the lift industry, and at least an NVQ level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
This role covers key stations across Manchester, Bolton and surrounding areas.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00–16:45 and Friday 8:00–15:45.
Stairlift Engineer Responsibilities- Conduct maintenance, repair, and call-out visits on a wide range of stairlifts, hoists and home lifts
- Ensure high-quality service and safety standards
- Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards
- Participate in the on-call rota, receiving additional standby allowance and call-out payment on top of a competitive base salary
- An NVQ level 2 in Lift Engineering or equivalent preferred; but we will train to NVQ Level 2 for the right candidate
- Proven experience as a Stairlift Engineer or Domestic Engineer within the lift industry
- A valid UK driving licence
- A passion for delivering excellent customer service
