Pipefitter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established mechanical engineering contractor in their search for a Pipefitter to work in Manchester

• Pay: £23.25 per hour
• Hours of Work: 7:30am – 16:00pm, some Saturdays required
• Duration:
  Temporary (4 week initial, potentially more work)
• Benefits:
  Weekly pay, enhanced overtime rates

The Pipefitter will be working on-site at a warehouse in Trafford Park. Pipefitter duties include site measuring and the installation of 2" and 1" galvanised screwed pipework as part of a fit-out project. You’ll be interpreting technical drawings and assisting other trades on-site as required.

• Experienced pipefitter within the commercial/building services sector
• Proven experience working with screwed pipework on similar projects
• NVQ/C&G in pipe fitting or equivalent mechanical engineering discipline
• CCNSG/SCATS card

• TIG pipe welding experience
• Experience of fabrication and welding work
• Ability to work with stainless steel/carbon steel welded pipework an advantage
