Fire & Security Service Engineer (Temporary Sub-Contract Role)

V7 are recruiting experienced Fire & Security Service Engineers to support a large national commercial contract. The role involves servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and security systems, with a strong focus on access control and door entry systems, for a well-established national client operating within the fire and security industry.

This position offers stable, long-term subcontract work across the North West, with the majority of sites located in the Manchester and Greater Manchester area.

Initial 6-month rolling contract

Monday to Friday working pattern (weekend work available)

• Servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
• Servicing, fault-finding, and repair of access control and door entry systems
• Reactive fault-finding and remedial repairs across fire and security systems
• Working across commercial sites throughout Manchester and Greater Manchester
• Managing workload effectively while meeting service deadlines

• Outside IR35
• Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay every Friday
• Rates from £33.00 to £34.00 per hour
• Overtime readily available
• Travel time paid
• Long-term, ongoing contract
• Working on established commercial sites across the North West

• Proven experience in servicing and maintaining fire and security systems
• Strong experience with access control and door entry systems
• Ability to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance works
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Valid DBS check required
