Position: Fire and security service engineer - North west (Contract)
Fire & Security Service Engineer (Temporary Sub-Contract Role)
V7 are recruiting experienced Fire & Security Service Engineers to support a large national commercial contract. The role involves servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and security systems, with a strong focus on access control and door entry systems, for a well-established national client operating within the fire and security industry.
This position offers stable, long-term subcontract work across the North West, with the majority of sites located in the Manchester and Greater Manchester area.

The Role
Initial 6-month rolling contract
Monday to Friday working pattern (weekend work available)
Servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting
Servicing, fault-finding, and repair of access control and door entry systems
Reactive fault-finding and remedial repairs across fire and security systems
Working across commercial sites throughout Manchester and Greater Manchester

Competitive hourly rate with weekly pay every Friday
Rates from £33.00 to £34.00 per hour
Overtime readily available
Travel time paid

Working on established commercial sites across the North West

Proven experience in servicing and maintaining fire and security systems
Strong experience with access control and door entry systems
Ability to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance works
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Valid DBS check required
