Multi Skilled Tradesperson

We’re looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join our team, working across domestic commercial properties in Manchester and surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard, delivering excellent workmanship and customer service.

• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
• Carry out all types of plumbing work, including installs, repairs, leak detection, pipework, fixtures, and general maintenance
• Complete electrical works such as minor installs/repairs, fault finding, and testing where applicable
• Undertake joinery tasks including doors, frames, skirting/architraves, kitchens, locks/ironmongery, and general carpentry repairs (Not essential)
• Perform painting and decorating, including prep, patching, finishing, and snagging
• Ensure jobs are completed within agreed timescales and to quality standards
• Maintain clear records of work completed and materials used
• Communicate professionally with tenants/clients and site teams
• Follow health & safety procedures at all times

• Proven experience in plumbing, electrical, joinery, and painting/decorating
• Strong multi-trade background with the ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence (Less than 6 points)
• Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines and maintain high standards

• Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds / NVQ in plumbing/electrical/joinery/painting)
• 18th Edition (electrical) and/or testing qualification
• Experience in reactive maintenance, voids, or refurbishment projects
• Asbestos awareness, manual handling, working at height certificates
