Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer to join their Manchester-based team.
The RoleThis is a field-based service and maintenance position, ideal for an engineer who enjoys fault-finding and working independently.
- Service, maintain, and fault-find addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
- Work on panels including Gent, Kentec, C-Tec, Advanced, Hochiki, Menvier, and Ziton
- Diagnose faults and carry out first-time fixes
- Replace devices and system components to maintain compliance
- Ensure all work meets BS5839 standards
- Complete clear service and test documentation
- Represent the company professionally on site
- Sites include commercial offices, retail and hospitality, and industrial environments. You'll manage your own workload and van stock with support from an experienced team.
- Experience in fire alarm servicing, maintenance, or commissioning
- Strong fault-finding skills on addressable systems
- Good knowledge of BS5839
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional attitude and attention to detail
- Experience with multiple manufacturers
- ECS, FIA, or manufacturer training
- Commercial or industrial site experience
If you have the right attitude, training will be provided.
