. This role involves maintaining and improving the prison's infrastructure, ensuring all decorating is carried out safely, on time, and in compliance with safety codes and regulations.

• Carry out all reactive decorating and planned decorating projects as directed to support the establishment.
• Ensure all works are undertaken safely in accordance with good practice and current legislation.
• Adhere to tool management procedures outlined in the Local Security Strategy.
• Undertake project work as directed by the Technical Facilities Manager.
• Supervise prisoner working parties where applicable.
• Deliver all work to relevant trade standards.

• Painting and decorating experience.
• High level of interpersonal skills.
• Positive approach to health and safety.
• Proactive, systematic approach to tasks.
• Ability to work to time schedules and meet deadlines.
• Team player.
• Have a disability defined by the Equality Act 2010.
