Aviation Security Officer – Security & Customer Services

: £14.95 per hour inclusive of 22.5% shift allowance.

The role involves standing, bending, walking and manual handling, with a focus on protecting passengers, colleagues and airport operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct hand searches of cabin luggage, passengers and staff.
- Carry out body searches (pat‑downs).
- Operate advanced security equipment such as X‑ray machines and body scanners.
- Patrol terminals and wider airport premises. estratégicas
- Check staff and passenger boarding passes before entry to secure areas.
- Greet and assist guests to ensure excellent service.
- Criminal record check.
- Five‑year employment history.
- Counter‑terrorism check – applicants must have lived in the UK for the past three years.
- Face‑to‑face medical assessment.
Average of 38 h per week on an annualised contract. Hours may increase during busy periods (up to 52 h per week) or decrease during quieter periods, but your salary remains fixed at 38 h per week. Full flexibility is required for a 24/7 operation, including night shifts, early starts from 03:00, late shifts, weekends, bank holidays, and both short‑haul and long‑haul patterns.
