We are looking for a passionate and driven Sales Development Representative to join our Pro Service Sales Team at our Manchester head office for the next stage of our journey. This dynamic role combines strong client relationship management with proactive new business development.

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll identify new business opportunities, generate revenue, improve profitability, and play a key part in the continued growth of HSS Pro Service. Typical Day
  • Use all available data sources to research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, lapsed customers, low spenders, growth sectors, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Generate leads, contact prospective customers and identify key decision‑makers within organisations.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handovers and successful order conversion.
  • Build and maintain strong knowledge of your account base.
  • Cross‑sell and upsell effectively, maintaining a thorough understanding of our full product and service offering across all divisions.
  • Meet and exceed sales KPIs, including revenue, profitability, call activity, quality metrics, talk time and data enrichment.
What You’ll Bring
  • Proven track record in sales or business development, with a demonstrable ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • A resilient and proactive mindset with a dynamic and dedicated attitude.
  • Self‑motivated and results‑driven, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Prior experience in outbound calling or customer contact roles.
