Summary:

This is a pure new business position within a supportive, high-activity team. You’ll be meeting clients face-to-face, building rapport, and developing a pipeline supported by warm leads, marketing spend, and an initial inherited book. Technical training and market knowledge will be provided, enthusiasm and drive are what truly matter here. Ideal for someone hungry to build a long-term career in broking while learning from a highly experienced manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new business across construction-related risks: build a strong pipeline with tailored support
• Meet clients on-site: build trust, understand risks, and deliver compelling solutions
• Convert warm leads and campaign prospects: benefit from a large pre-qualified data set
• Manage and grow an initial book of clients: gain early wins and long-term relationships
• Work proactively with marketing and internal teams: accelerate activity and outreach Requirements:
• Proven new business experience (not just account handling)
• Comfortable in client-facing, on-site meetings
• Some exposure to construction risks (electricians, builders, plant hire, etc.)
Strong communication skills and a willingness to ask questions
