Join us as a Business Development Manager in Payit, Nat West’s Open Banking business.
Responsibilities- Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience, ensuring customers receive the best open banking solutions for their needs.
- Identify opportunities, build relationships, and offer tailored solutions for mid‑market and enterprise‑level clients.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the bank.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand customer pain points, develop proposals, and guide prospects through the entire sales lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Technical Sales, Product and other colleagues to develop and present customised proposals, product demonstrations and value propositions.
- Identify, target and generate opportunities aligned to product capabilities and customer use cases.
- Lead negotiations through to deal closure, balancing client needs with company objectives.
- Ensure contracts, pricing and terms align with business goals and customer requirements.
- Work closely with Technical Sales, Product, Marketing and Customer Success to ensure effective solution implementation.
- Accountable for driving the activation process for new customers and meeting revenue expectations.
- Ensure customers achieve quick time‑to‑value and fully utilise solution features.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecast potential revenue.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on key activities, pipeline status and progress toward targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to influence and build relationships at senior levels of large businesses.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation and closing skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to understand complex client needs and design customised solutions.
- Strong financial acumen to develop commercial proposals aligning with strategic pricing and financial objectives.
- Team player invested in personal and colleague development.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with internal stakeholders to drive results.
