Job Title

Trainee Mortgage Adviser at The New Homes Group

Overview

Fast Track Mortgage Adviser Academy – 12‑month commission guarantee included. This is a full‑time, permanent role that offers a structured training programme, full financial support for CF1 & CF6 qualifications, and the opportunity to become a fully CII‑qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser.

Training & Compensation
  • First 16 weeks: basic salary + guaranteed commission to £30 k per annum.
  • Weeks 4‑6: £30 k per annum guarantee.
  • Weeks 7‑10: £32.5 k per annum guarantee.
  • Weeks 10‑16: £35 k per annum guarantee.
  • Post‑training: £25 k basic salary + unlimited commission, realistic OTE of £45 k+. Guaranteed commissions increase over the following 12 months, with OTE of £50 k+ in the second year.
Work Hours
  • Training period: 9:30 AM‑5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. No planned holidays during the 16‑week period.
  • Post‑training:
    Mix of 9:00 AM‑6:00 PM and 11:00 AM‑8:00 PM patterns, Monday to Friday. No weekend or bank‑holiday work.
Location & Working Mode

Initial 11‑week office‑based training at the Academy Centre, Oxford Street, Manchester followed by 5 weeks of remote training. Full home‑based working once qualified.

Responsibility Highlights
  • Contact customers, secure appointments, and advance mortgage and protection applications.
  • Write and manage a minimum of 14 mortgages with protection each month.
  • Deliver quality advice and sales through telephone‑based interactions.
Required Knowledge,

Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong desire to work in financial services, especially mortgages and protection.
  • Recent graduation (2:1 or higher) or strong sales track record.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and listening skills; able to explain complex information simply.
  • Highly organised with a disciplined and structured approach to work.
  • Competent user of IT and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
