Description

We’re looking for a Wholesale Assistant to join our small but mighty Wholesale team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team working with some of the most respected retail partners across the globe. As the Wholesale department continues to evolve, this is a great time to join a collaborative, ambitious team with real momentum and opportunity.

Reporting into the Wholesale Manager, the role supports the operational management of our global wholesale partners and plays a key part in how Adanola shows up in retail worldwide. You’ll gain broad exposure across the business, working cross‑functionally with Buying, Merchandising, Finance, Operations and Marketing, while building hands‑on experience in retailer account management. Working closely with the Wholesale Executive, you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of partner accounts with genuine responsibility, visibility and scope to grow.

This role offers the chance to make a real impact and be part of shaping Adanola’s global wholesale presence as the brand continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day‑to‑day administration and trading of select wholesale accounts, ensuring a high standard of account management and partner communication.
  • Raise, manage and amend wholesale orders end‑to‑end, maintaining system accuracy and ensuring alignment with the critical path.
  • Own and maintain the wholesale order book, tracking progress, deliveries and inbound POs to ensure timelines and brand requirements are met.
  • Collaborate daily with our Product team on launches, ongoing orders and queries, keeping Wholesale aligned to our online business.
  • Monitor weekly sales performance and stock levels, highlighting risks and opportunities to the Wholesale Manager and supporting proactive trading decisions.
  • Produce and contribute to brand reporting and sales reviews, using performance and product data to understand partner behaviour and identify opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly trade updates, providing clear insights on performance, stock position, and partner activity.
  • Coordinate shipment bookings and monitor delivery activity, including drop shipment orders, providing regular updates where required.
  • Attend brand meetings and store visits, working closely with partners to review performance, ensure strong brand presentation in-store, and capture insights to inform future opportunities.
  • Work with our Finance team to support credit control, pre‑payment processes and resolve debit, faulty and charge‑related queries.
  • Manage key partner compliance requirements to minimise chargebacks, deductions, and shipment delays.
  • Drive process improvements by identifying operational gaps and supporting the implementation of more efficient wholesale workflows.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • A strong team player who enjoys working within a small team and collaborating cross‑functionally.
  • Passionate for the fashion and retail industry.
  • Quick learner, highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable in an administrative, process‑driven role.
  • Confident communicator with a professional and collaborative approach.
  • Proactive, reliable and eager to learn and develop.
  • A natural problem solver: takes ownership of issues, working collaboratively with teams to identify practical solutions and ensure timely resolution.
  • Numerically confident with commercial awareness:
Comfortable analysing sales data and stock positions, with an understanding of key metrics and their impact on performance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience in an administrative, operations or wholesale support role.
  • Exposure to order processing, invoicing or logistics coordination.
Benefits
  • Business‑wide bonus structure
  • Private Medical Insurance
  • Flexible workplace (3 days a week in our Manchester office)
  • 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
  • Day off on your Birthday
  • 50% staff discount
