Food Preparation Assistant – Grind smith Manchester Airport

As a Food Preparation Assistant at Grind smith, you’ll help bring our food offer to life through precision, teamwork, and care. You’ll be at the heart of the kitchen, working with fresh ingredients, clean routines, and a shared commitment to quality.

We are looking for various Team Members to work across shift patterns and hours from 8-39 hours - opening hours

• Preparing fresh, high-quality ingredients for a variety of dishes
• Keeping the kitchen organised, clean, and ready for service
• Following food safety guidelines and maintaining hygiene standards
• Supporting your team during peak service times with energy and focus
• Replenishing counters and ensuring everything is stored correctly

• Experience in food preparation with a strong sense of pride in doing things properly, consistently, and to a high standard.
• A calm, focused approach to busy service periods
• A helpful, team‑based attitude with strong attention to detail
• Reliability, with a willingness to learn and contribute every day
• Commitment to food safety and cleanliness

Due to the location of this role airside at Manchester Airport, all candidates must pass aviation security clearance. This includes:

• A valid passport
• A complete 5-year history (employment, education, travel, or volunteering)
• A criminal record check (DBS)

We will guide you through the vetting process and support you in submitting the necessary documentation.
