I'm currently working with a standout Build to Rent development in Manchester that's looking to appoint an Assistant General Manager to support the day-to-day operation of a vibrant, resident-focused scheme.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a community, balancing people management with high-quality property and tenancy oversight, and bringing resident experiences to life.

The Role

As Assistant General Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring residents receive an exceptional living experience. Your focus will sit across resident management, property and tenancy management, with a strong emphasis on engagement and service delivery.

Key responsibilities will include:

Acting as a key point of contact for residents, building strong relationships and handling queries professionally

Supporting tenancy management across the scheme, including compliance, renewals, move-ins and move-outs

Overseeing day-to-day property management, ensuring standards are consistently high

Taking the lead on planning and delivering resident events, helping to build a genuine sense of community

Supporting the General Manager with operational reporting and team coordination

About You

I'm keen to speak with candidates who:

Have experience within Build to Rent, residential property, student accommodation, hospitality or serviced living

Are confident managing resident relationships and resolving issues with a customer-first mindset

Are organised, proactive and comfortable juggling operational and people-focused responsibilities

Enjoy creating engaging resident experiences and events
