  • Manage operational delivery standards across construction, rail, and other regulated sectors
  • Ensure compliance with awarding bodies, ESFA, Ofqual, and sector-specific frameworks (NSAR, RISQS, IOSH, NRSWA)
  • Operate ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 or other quality management frameworks, embedding governance in daily operations
  • Provide hands‑on leadership and guidance to a small national quality team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement
  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback, performance monitoring, and corrective actions
  • Travel across the UK to support training, audits, inspections, and team collaboration
About You
  • Experience in quality assurance and compliance in education, skills, or training provision
  • Strong operational understanding of audits, IQA, and funded programme governance
  • Familiarity with ISO or equivalent quality management frameworks
  • Experience in regulated, safety‑critical sectors (construction, rail, utilities, health & safety)
  • Able to balance governance requirements with practical delivery realities
  • Leadership experience managing small teams and providing guidance across multiple locations
  • Comfortable with UK‑wide travel when needed as part of the role
Nice-to-have:

Ofqual, ESFA, CITB, or sector-specific accreditation knowledge.

What Success Looks Like
