Quality & Environmental Team Leader Carrington £32,000 - £42,000doe

Our client, a world-leading manufacturer in their field, has an exciting new vacancy for an environmental & Quality Supervisor to join their busy team.

To apply for this role, you must have experience working in a busy Quality based role within the manufacturing sector and must have the ISO
9001 qualification. You shall also have experience or the want to pursue a team leader role in the Managers absence and also have a knowledge or passion to also pursue a career in Environmental compliance and management.

Key Responsibilities
- * Quality management – using your knowledge acquired from your ISO
9001 qualification to ensure products manufactured are up to the relevant quality manufacturing standards

* Overseeing quality compliance, audits, improvements, and some shop-floor quality checks

* Supporting investigations into customer complaints regarding quality, internal non-conformances, applying root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions

* Maintain the Quality Training Matrix and contribute to developing training materials and guidance

* Working directly alongside the QHS Manager, you will act as their deputy, leading the department in their absence and providing structure, support and guidance to others. This is a hands-on, high-responsibility position suited to someone with solid QE experience in manufacturing and a strong understanding of ISO systems, audits, and leadership.

* Keep up to date with relevant legislation, regulations, and international standards

* A knowledge of Quality management/compliance & the ISO
9001 is essential. The ISO
14001 and environmental compliance is also an advantage as this is also part of the role, but can be trained in.

* Prepare and deliver monthly QE activity and progress reports to the QHS Manager and senior stakeholders

* Encourage continuous improvement across the business, collaborating with departments to identify and resolve process variances.

Desirables –

* Proven Quality management experience within a leadership or operational capacity within the manufacturing sector

* Proven experience leading and maintaining IS(phone number removed) & ISO 9001 systems, including internal & external audit preparation

* Familiar with root cause analysis tools and CAPA processes
