Salary: £33,000-£38,000 + Benefits
Cast UK are partnering with a fast-growing, product-led consumer brand to recruit an ambitious and driven QA Technician. This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior to mid-level Quality professional ready to step up and take ownership of the Quality function within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
Key Responsibilities Product Quality & Continuous Improvement- Drive ongoing product improvements across packaging, instructions and overall customer experience
- Collaborate closely with Product and factory partners to identify issues and implement solutions
- Champion quality throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Analyse returns, defect trends, complaints and customer feedback to identify root causes
- Lead the returns process end-to-end, ensuring actions are implemented quickly and effectively
- Translate insight into practical improvements that reduce returns and protect margin
- Communicate findings and progress clearly to stakeholders across the business
- Own product compliance, including technical documentation and product files
- Ensure products meet relevant UK and EU regulations
- Manage packaging waste, WEEE and associated compliance requirements
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and advise the business on impacts
- Review and improve QA processes across the product critical path (PSI, product data, development reviews, technical sign-off)
- Embed structured processes without slowing down product speed to market
- Build strong internal relationships across Product, Buying, Customer Service and Operations
- Develop close working partnerships with factories, driving accountability and shared ownership of quality
- Act as a collaborative problem-solver with a strong customer-first mindset
- Experience in a QA or Product Quality role within a fast-paced consumer products environment
- Commercially aware with a clear understanding of how quality impacts returns, customer experience and profitability
- Highly data-literate and confident turning insight into action
- Strong knowledge of compliance and technical documentation
- Proactive, curious and driven, with the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels
