Position: Private Yacht Nursing Specialist (Geriatric Focus)

Manchester, United Kingdom | Posted on 10/02/2026

We are engaging a highly skilled nursing professional for a dedicated 1:1 medical role aboard a private superyacht. Your patient is an 80-year-old VIP requiring constant, high-level clinical observation. The vessel’s upcoming itinerary focuses on the exclusive volcanic islands of the Tyrrhenian Sea . You will oversee the client's care while the yacht navigates the thermal waters of Ischia , the cinematic cliffs of Capri , and the pristine anchorages of the Pontine Islands (Ponza and Palmarola) .

This role demands a practitioner who can deliver hospital-standard care within the confines of a moving luxury residence.

The Team
  • Medical Lead: A British Doctor overseeing all clinical governance and emergency protocols.
  • Rehabilitation: A team of Physiotherapists managing the client’s daily mobility exercises.
  • Nursing Staff: A Western-trained nursing cadre ensuring 24/7 coverage and peer support.
The Safety

To guarantee the highest standard of patient safety and nurse fatigue management, this role operates on a strict Double-Nurse Shift System
. You will always be paired with a second qualified nurse on duty, ensuring safe manual handling and the ability to take structured breaks without compromising patient monitoring.

The Process
  • Step 1: Credential and experience vetting.
  • Step 2: Remote Video Interview (Zoom/Teams).
  • Step 3: Final Offer and travel logistics. (No travel required for the interview phase).
Requirements

Qualifications: Western-trained Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Experience: 4+ years of post-graduate experience in Acute Care, ICU, or ER/A&E is mandatory.

Language: Native English speaker or C1 proficiency is required for clear communication with the medical lead.

Profile: A calm, professional demeanor with the ability to respect the privacy of a high-profile client.

Accommodation: Premium en-suite quarters (Single Occupancy) within the crew deck.

Leave: 30 days of paid annual leave.

Inclusions: All flights, transfers, full medical insurance, and on-board living expenses (meals, uniforms) are fully covered.

Qualified candidates with acute care backgrounds should apply immediately for this Italian Island rotation.
