Locum Practice Nurse Hourly Rate: £24 - £35 (depending on experience and pay type)

Manchester Job Type: Locum We are seeking an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to join a friendly and supportive GP practice in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse looking for flexible work and competitive rates. Day-to-day of the role:
Conduct chronic disease management clinics, including diabetes, asthma, and COPD. Perform wound care, dressings, and suture removal. Administer vaccinations and immunisations. Carry out cervical cytology (smear tests). Provide health promotion and lifestyle advice. Assist with treatment room duties and minor illness support. Maintain accurate patient records in line with practice policies. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Practice Nurse in a GP setting. Up-to-date NMC registration. Competent in chronic disease management and treatment room skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Benefits:
