Overview
The Freelance Affiliate Account Manager will work within the Affiliate team and will be responsible for supporting the delivery and optimisation of affiliate marketing activity across a portfolio of clients. In this role you will manage day-to-day affiliate programme performance, develop relationships with partners and networks, and support the delivery of strategic growth across client accounts. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure affiliate activity aligns with wider paid media and digital marketing strategies.
Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of client affiliate programmes, including traditional affiliate partners, content creators, influencer affiliates, and media partner activity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliate networks, partners, and publishers.
- Monitor and optimise campaign performance against agreed KPIs including revenue, CPA and ROI.
- Identify opportunities to grow affiliate performance through new partnerships, placements and promotional activity.
- Support the implementation of affiliate strategy plans across client accounts.
- Work closely with internal Paid Media and Client Services teams to ensure affiliate activity aligns with wider campaign objectives.
- Analyse campaign performance and provide clear reporting and insights to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure affiliate programmes follow industry best practice and comply with agreed brand and network guidelines.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, partner opportunities and affiliate marketing innovations.
- Support new business opportunities where relevant through insights, recommendations or affiliate channel expertise.
- Skills Needed to Apply:
- Strong knowledge of the Affiliate Marketing industry across UK or EMEA markets.
- Experience using affiliate platforms and networks such as AWIN, Impact, Partnerize or similar.
- Comfortable using reporting tools and platforms such as Excel, Google Analytics and affiliate dashboards.
- Understanding of affiliate tracking methods and campaign set-up.
- 3+ years experience managing affiliate marketing campaigns either agency-side, brand-side or network-side.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and identify optimisation opportunities.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to build strong partner relationships.
