Our client is a specialist Ecommerce company with successful online sales and business activities across Europe.
The opportunityIn order to capitalise on expanding online activity in international markets, they wish to hire a Content Specialist. The role will focus mostly on managing digital content to drive ecommerce success. You will work across various team departments, ensuring that product content is created and implemented to their target audience and various digital platforms, especially Amazon.
Responsibilities- Manage the implementing of optimisation strategies across digital channels
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience
- Work closely with analysts to design and execute content and layouts
- Ensure consistency and high quality in product images, descriptions and tags across all e-commerce platforms
- Adapt content to suit international audiences, maintaining cultural and linguistic relevance
- Work closely with Content and Creative Teams to coordinate launch of products
- Contribute to the development of visual merchandising strategies
- SEO Optimisation of all content
- Track and analyse key merchandising metrics
- Fluency English is essential. Fluency in any 2nd language is an advantage due to the international scope of the role (French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian of interest but all languages considered)
- Previous experience in Ecommerce content management or similar
- Experience in uploading and content management on Amazon - use of Amazon Vendor Central, and Amazon Seller Central.
- Hands-on experience managing and merchandising products on websites.
- Strong understanding of how content and merchandising drive online performance
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptionally organized, with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple requests and keeping track of timelines.
- Ideally have some familiarity with platforms such as Helium
10, Pacvue
Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000
