We re now looking for a PR, Social & Events Assistant, to work alongside our Brand and Creative team in our Manchester HQ.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a proactive and organised PR, Social & Events Assistant to support our PR and marketing activity across social media, influencer outreach, and events. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone at the early stages of their PR or marketing career who is highly organised, creative, and enthusiastic about brand building.
You will play a key role in keeping social channels running smoothly, supporting influencer and PR communications, and assisting with the planning and delivery of events.
Key roles and responsibilitiesSocial Media Support
- Schedule and publish social media posts across key platforms using scheduling tools
- Assist with content planning and social media calendars
- Ensure posts are correctly captioned, tagged, and aligned with brand tone
- Monitor comments and messages, escalating where required
- Support reporting on engagement and performance
PR & Influencer Outreach
- Support PR outreach by drafting and sending emails to influencers, press, and partners
- Assist with influencer gifting, tracking samples and follow-ups
- Maintain and update PR and influencer contact lists
- Support press coverage tracking and reporting
- Help prepare PR materials such as press releases, product information, and image packs
Events Support
- Assist with the planning, organisation, and delivery of events (press days, influencer events, launches, pop-ups, etc.)
- Support logistics including guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, and event prep
- Assist on-site during events, acting as a brand representative
- Support post-event follow-ups and reporting
General Marketing Support
- Provide administrative support to the Brand Marketing team
- Help ensure timelines and deadlines are met
- Support ad-hoc marketing tasks as required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.)
- Comfortable emailing and communicating with influencers and external partners
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to get stuck in
- Previous experience or internships in PR, marketing, social media, or events is a plus but not essential
- A genuine interest in PR, social media, and events
- A creative mindset with strong organisational skills
- Someone reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn
- A team player who can also work independently
