Role Overview

We’re seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of Gift Trees’ marketing strategy. This role will be pivotal in growing brand awareness, strengthening engagement across key audiences (restaurants, ePOS partners, diners), and driving scalable acquisition through digital channels. The Marketing Manager will line-manage two direct reports and work cross-functionally with tech, partnerships, and impact teams to amplify our mission and messaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive annual marketing strategy aligned with Gift Trees’ mission and business goals.
  • Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for brand growth, partner acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small, but growing, marketing team (2 direct reports), ensuring high performance and professional growth.
B2B Marketing & Partnerships
  • Design and execute B2B marketing campaigns targeting restaurants and ePOS partners.
  • Support sales enablement with compelling marketing collateral, case studies, and partner success stories.
  • Collaborate with Partnerships to align on go-to-market plans and joint promotional activities.
  • Manage our hospitality events calendar and ensure we have all assets to maximise the impact of each event.
Digital Channels & Email Marketing
  • Lead strategic email marketing efforts, from segmentation and content planning to automation and analytics.
  • Optimise email workflows to nurture prospects, onboard partners, and retain existing supporters.
  • Analyse performance data and implement improvements to increase open rates, click-throughs, and conversions.
Social Media & Content Creation
  • Manage and grow Gift Trees’ social media presence across platforms (Linked In, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.).
  • Create authentic, mission-aligned content that drives engagement, educates audiences, and builds community.
  • Oversee content calendars, working with the team to create written, visual, and video assets.
Brand & Messaging
  • Ensure consistent, compelling storytelling across all channels that reflects our values and impact.
  • Elevate Gift Trees’ voice in the sustainability, hospitality, and impact spaces through thought leadership and creative campaigns.
Performance & Reporting
  • Track and report on key marketing performance indicators monthly.
  • Use insights to optimise campaigns, inform strategy, and support business decisions.
  • Prepare executive summaries and presentations for leadership.
Experience
  • 6+ years marketing experience
  • Proven B2B marketing experience
  • Strong email marketing expertise, including segmentation, automation and performance analysis.
  • Excellent content creation skills with a strong eye for visuals and storytelling across social platforms.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a small team.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and proficiency using analytics tools.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail in content creation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines through effective time management and organisational skills.
