Job SummaryThe E‑commerce & Trading Manager is part of the wider Marketing team and is responsible for all website and marketplace trading for both B2C and B2B sites. Primary duties include managing the trading and promotional calendar, merchandising and reporting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with Magento (or equivalent) and seller central platforms and have a thorough understanding of on‑site trading and merchandising initiatives that drive sales through e‑commerce.

- Develop the trading and promotional strategy for B2B & B2C customers for 2026.
- Develop the marketplace propositions on Amazon & Tik Tok, ensuring search insights are reported weekly, product range reviews are agreed and merchandised, and A+ and native product content and reviews are improved to drive sales.
- Collaborate with Beauty Industry Group International Sales teams to support trading and e‑commerce initiatives for HTG & Bellami brands within the Group.
- Coordinate trading activations with the wider Marketing and Sales team, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Work closely with the Key Accounts team on a comprehensive trading, pricing and promotional strategy that supports growth across DTC websites.
- Partner with the E‑commerce UX Manager to implement website tools that improve conversions and produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for senior leadership, with clear actionable takeaways and growth recommendations.
- Support the launch of the Beauty Works micro‑loyalty incentive and rewards program that supports retention KPIs, improves content creation and reduces overt discounting, in collaboration with Brand, E‑commerce and Performance Managers.
- Manage three direct reports, setting their personal objectives and development plans in alignment with business priorities.
- 5+ years of experience in a marketing or trading role, either client‑side retail or agency, preferably within hair or beauty.
- Proficient in Excel with the ability to extract and present data, providing clear actionable insights from trading data.
- Experience using onsite merchandising tools.
- Excellent communication skills, able to provide clarity on performance indicators and set direction for strategy.
- Enthusiasm for the Beauty Works brand, its community and popular culture.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal teams and external clients.
- Project management and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining a long‑term perspective.
