An opportunity for an experienced and motivated Shift Manufacturing Team Manager, working shifts, reporting to the Site Production Manager. You are a successful Shift Production Manufacturing Leader, working in manufacturing, leading teams, performance targets, driving safety, quality, service, cost and people targets.

To remain at the forefront of a highly competitive marketplace, a permanent opportunity has arisen for a proven production manufacturing professional to manage a production / manufacturing area.

• Lead shift operations with safety as the absolute priority.
• Oversee operations across the department, starting with safety, then optimising quality, line efficiency and delivery.
• Lead performance proactively, including Performance Improvement Plans for the team.
• Co‑ordinate and drive development projects that lead to performance improvements, cost reductions, greater competitiveness and team engagement.
• Drive performance across quality, output and efficiency.
• Lead and develop Shift Coordinators and frontline teams.
• Own performance management and continuous improvement.
• Deliver improvement projects focused on cost, capability and competitiveness.
• Ensure smooth flow from raw materials to finished product.
• Champion GMP standards and best practice manufacturing.

• Accomplished understanding of all areas of factory operations; background in process, manufacturing or packaging considered.
• Experience in FMCG, regulated GMP, process or fast‑paced manufacturing industry with factory knowledge and an understanding of key drivers within manufacturing.
• Proven record in driving continuous improvements.
• Growth mindset; ambitious, able to lead people and drive objectives, goals, strategies and measures through people.
• Knowledge of lean tools – manufacturing improvements ideal.
• Hands‑on visible leadership with safety at the core.
