Experienced Machine Operative required for a laminate manufacturing company in Trafford Park.

Our client, a well-established laminate manufacturing business, is seeking a skilled Machine Operative to join their production team. This is a temp to permanent role with competitive pay and early finish on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities Machine Operative

• Set up, operate, and maintain machinery including:

  • Edgebanders

  • Post forming machines

  • Spindle moulders

  • Beam saws

• Monitor production quality and output

• Read and work from technical drawings/specifications

• Ensure materials are cut and finished to high-quality standards

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace

• Report machinery faults or maintenance requirements

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 12 months experience operating edgebanders, post forming machinery, spindle moulders, beam saws, or similar equipment

• Experience in laminate, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or similar industry preferred

• Strong attention to detail and quality standards

• Good understanding of health & safety procedures

• Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Hours & Pay

• Monday Thursday: 07 00

• Friday: 07 45 (early finish)

• Pay: £14.00 £ 16.50 per hour (depending on experience)

• Temp to permanent role with potential for career progression
