Responsibilities- Ensure the business is compliant with all H&SE, company and legislative requirements, via company policies, procedures and systems
- Promote safe working practices and be a role model within the site for this subject
- Manage and review risk assessments
- Carry out internal training (including inductions) and organise external training
- Manage ISO
14001 & 9001, supporting Laboratory manager with ISO
17025 - Coordinate the development of AS9100
- Arrange internal & external audits on management systems
- Ensure environmental compliance
- Facility management (hard & soft)
- Assess and investigate any quality non-conformances
- Undertake quarterly health, safety and environmental committee meetings
- Arrange and organize contractors for all required health, safety & environmental inspections / servicing of the site
- Undertake accident investigations & Reportable incidents
- A minimum of 2 years EH&S experience in a manufacturing setting
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- Self‑motivated, hands on, team player
- Lead auditor to 9001, 14001, 9100 desirable
- Facilities Management skills for both hard & soft FM desirable
- Good communicator
- Confident IT skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
