Production Manager – Back Shift

Salary: £50,000 + up to 10% pension match + benefits

Hours:

Back shift, 2:30pm – 11:00pm

Job Summary

A highly regarded food manufacturing business in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced Production Manager for their back shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong operational leader in FMCG to drive performance, maintain high standards, and develop their teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the production area to ensure customer requirements and product specifications are consistently met

* Meet and drive production targets and operational KPIs

* Take ownership of Health & Safety and Food Safety within the production area

* Foster a safe, high-performing culture and promote FOOD behaviours

* Motivate, coach, and develop teams to achieve business goals

* Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives

* Manage operational budgets and resources effectively

* Hold self and others accountable for achieving operational excellence

Candidate Requirements

* Proven FMCG production leadership experience

* Strong operational and budget management skills

* Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies

* Strong safety, quality, and food safety mindset

* Ability to motivate and develop teams while holding them accountable

* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
