Shift Electrician

Our client, a global manufacturer who is renowned for it's well-known household brands, is currently on the look-out for a Shift Electrician to join their team. We are looking for someone who is confident in taking ownership of their work, demonstrating accountability and responsibility on site. A proactive approach, positive attitude, and the ability to work well within a team are essential for success in this role.

Job details:

* Ensure that preventative and reactive maintenance duties are carried out across the site.

* Be the first point of contact when breakdowns occur. Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime.

* Identify and support initiatives to reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.

* Collaborate with other maintenance team members to co-ordinate repairs and maintenance activities.

* Liaise with the Engineering Team Manager for workload planning and technical support.

Qualifications /

Experience:

* Engineering skills obtained by a time served apprenticeship (NVQ Level
3).

* Previous experience within a fast-paced FMCG or food manufacturing environment (Essential).

* 17th or 18th Edition (Essential).

* PLC Fault finding experience (Desirable).

* Salary: £53,600

* Overtime available at time and a half
