The Role

My client are seeking an experienced Technical Machine Operator with a strong background in a fast moving environment. This position would be ideal for somebody from the FMCG, Print, Cardboard, Conversion, Food industries. You will be tasked with setting up, monitoring and maintaining high speed production machinery in line with production targets and quality standards.

Technical Machine Operator

Main Responsibilities

Set up and operate high speed production machinery.

Monitor machine performance, output and quality, making adjustments when required.

Perform first off and routine inspections.

Support with preventative maintenance on the machinery and basic troubleshooting.

Accurately complete production records, downtime logs, and quality documentation.

Work closely with maintenance, quality and production teams to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Adhere to health and safety guidelines.

Support with continuous improvement.

Technical Machine Operator

The Candidate

Proven experience as a Technical Machine Operator within a fast moving production environment.

Basic troubleshooting skills.

Ability to understand production specifications.

Good attention to detail.

Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Excel.
