JOB – CNC Setter/Operator

My client is a manufacturer of bespoke metal products. They are looking for a CNC Programmer/Operator to join their team in the Rochdale area on a permanent basis.

LOCATION: Rochdale
TERM: Permanent
SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000 Per Annum, Dependent On Experience

• Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering / Manufacturing
• Experience with programming software (Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf, or similar)
• Experience with Grinding and Auto Coiling
• Have experience machining and manufacturing precision parts and components
• Previous experience working as a CNC Operator / Machinist / Miller / Turner
• Be able to read from engineering drawings
• Have previous experience working in a similar Machine Shop environment
• Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team

• Working with CNC machinery and producing metal products
• Running multiple machines – small to medium batch work
• Inspecting components as required
• CNC Milling or Turning working with varied controls
• Reading from engineering drawings
• Adhering to company H&S requirements
