We are seeking a Panel Wiring Operator to join our team in Salford. You'll be part of a team responsible for the execution of the agreed customer delivery plan, carrying out panel wiring for the conveyorised systems area along with any other duties required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in panel wiring, experience reading wiring diagrams and ability to work well within a team.
WhatYou'll Do
- Carry out testing of products in line with standard operating procedures and relevant standards.
- Assist and participate in projects to continuously improve processes and the products.
- Work to high quality standard.
- Demonstrate required standards of behaviour and values.
- Maintain core skills through direct “hands on” activity.
- Promote continuous improvement activity within the team.
- Participate in day-to-day completion of change initiatives.
- Achievement / adherence of the production plan to give 100% performance to both internal and external customer/suppliers. These targets will be published for each area.
- Operate in accordance with Health & Safety policy and responsible for area adherence to all procedures.
- Formal qualifications in Electrical/Electronic engineering or similar field are desired.
- Demonstrated experience or working within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience of reading and understanding wiring diagrams.
- SAP knowledge would be beneficial but not essential.
- Salary - £36,482
- 26 days holiday + bank holidays
- Work pattern:
Mon-Thurs: 6am - 2.30pm, Fridays: 6am - 11.30am - Enhanced maternity and paternity policies
