This role involves managing enquiries from initial contact through to completed estimates and confirmed orders within a structural steel fabrication environment. The position combines office and site-based work, requiring accurate pricing, technical understanding, and clear communication to ensure smooth project delivery from tender stage to manufacture.

This position would suit an experienced Structural Steel Estimator who enjoys a hands‑on role involving client interaction, site visits, and commercial decision-making. It is ideal for a proactive professional with strong industry knowledge, excellent organisational skills, and the confidence to manage tenders independently while working collaboratively with internal teams.

• Prepare accurate structural steel estimates and competitive quotations
• Visit client sites to assess requirements and identify fabrication solutions
• Negotiate tenders and convert enquiries into confirmed orders
• Communicate manufacturing packages to workshop and project teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners

• Proven experience as an Estimator within Structural Steel
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Knowledge of Steel fabrication sector

Location – Manchester

Permanent – c £45k (dependent on experience) + Benefits

Full Time – 07:30-16:00 (Mon‑Thurs), 07:30-13:00 (Fri) – 37 hours + Overtime
