Reporting to:
Vacuum Forming Team Leader
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Vacuum Forming Setter / Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training will be provided where required.

The Role
 
You will be responsible for setting and operating vacuum forming machines, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and health & safety requirements are consistently met.
 
Machines on site:
Geiss and Shelley
 
The successful candidate will be expected to:

Operate a minimum of two machines and cover others when required
Carry out rough and neat trimming
Separate waste ready for granulation  

Key Responsibilities
 
Follow manufacturing processes while meeting quality and health & safety standards
Complete and record pre-start checks on machinery and equipment
Report damaged or faulty equipment to the Vacuum Forming Team Leader
Record materials, components, and machine tools used during production
Notify the Team Leader of any scrap, rejects, or breakages
Accurately complete production record sheets
Report any production issues or delays promptly
Liaise with other departments and support team members as required
Maintain good housekeeping standards at all times  Skills & Experience
 
Previous experience as a Vacuum Forming Setter/Operator preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Forklift licence desirable but not essential   
Salary

Minimum wage up to £13.22 per hour, depending on experience   
Working Hours

48 hours per week (paid breaks)
Shift options available:

Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 18:00
Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 16:00, Friday: 06:00 - 14:00   Benefits
