Responsibilities
- Project Planning:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Define project goals, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Project Execution:
- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring that all team members are aligned and working towards project goals.
- Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Budget & Resource Management:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands.
- Track and report on project expenditures, ensuring financial accountability.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders, including the executive team and clients.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to review progress and address any challenges.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement and maintain robust quality control processes.
- Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in project management activities.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the project team.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting minutes.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to the Head of Project Management and other stakeholders.
- Ensure that all project records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred).
- Experience in project management, with a focus on aerospace or technology projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards for UAV development is a plus.
