Overview
Domestic Services Supervisors (37.5 hours per week), 5 out of 7 days. Band 3 plus applicable enhancements. Hours of duty will be rotational 5 over 7, including weekends. 4 Week Rota. Sup 1. Wk No. Monday to Sunday shifts with varied times as listed in the rota. This role is based at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and supports domestic assistants/deep cleaners with day-to-day challenges in the workplace.
Training will be provided.
The Domestic Services Team based at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is looking for Domestic Supervisors to manage and train teams of cleaning staff throughout the workplace. We are looking for dynamic, reliable, experienced, enthusiastic and flexible individuals who have experience of cleaning and supervising staff. The ideal candidates need to have experience in operational services, and the ability to lead a team of staff in a diverse workplace.
- Provide day-to-day supervision, communication, training and development of domestic and deep clean teams.
- Act as point of contact and engage all staff in departmental issues and changes.
- Meet with service users with regard to cleaning services in conjunction with the deputy site services manager.
- Assist with changes to service delivery and ensure a partnership approach across cleaning services.
- Support the resolution of problems, interruptions or service emergencies and respond to enquiries promptly and courteously.
