• Lead and manage a dedicated team of social workers within the safeguarding department to ensure effective and timely interventions.

• Develop and implement strategic plans that align with local authority policies and procedures.
• Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with Social Work England standards.
• Foster a supportive team environment and offer constructive feedback to aid professional development.

• Hold a degree or equivalent in social work and be registered with Social Work England.
• Demonstrate recent managerial experience within Children’s Services, specifically in a safeguarding role.
• Possess significant frontline experience working as a team manager, able to make influential decisions.
