Location:
North West (Regional Role) My client, a respected organisation operating within the housing partnerships and social housing sector, is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Commercial Manager to lead commercial operations across the North West. This senior leadership role will oversee a team of Managing QS and play a pivotal part in the delivery of new build housing and wider partnership schemes.

The Role As Commercial Manager, you will oversee commercial performance across multiple projects, ensuring accuracy in reporting, strong cost control, and alignment with business objectives. You will mentor and guide a team of MQS while collaborating closely with operational and pre-construction teams to drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and develop a team of three MQS Oversee commercial performance across new build housing and partnership projects Ensure accurate cost forecasting, reporting, and commercial governance Negotiate and review contracts, variations, and subcontractor packages Provide strategic commercial insight to senior leadership Drive consistency and best practice across regional commercial processes Mitigate risks and ensure compliance with internal procedures Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and supply chain About You Proven experience as a Commercial Manager Strong background in new build housing (essential or highly advantageous) Experience in social housing, partnerships, refurbishment, or mixed-tenure schemes Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop commercial teams Excellent contract knowledge and financial acumen Confident communicator with strong negotiation and influencing skills Organised, proactive, and commercially driven Whats on Offer Competitive salary car / car allowance Comprehensive benefits package and company pension Clear progression pathways within a well-structured organisation Supportive, collaborative working environment Opportunity to shape and influence regional commercial strategy
