Salary: Circa £32,000 per year

Contract: Full-time, Permanent (interim applicants considered)

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday (flexible working considered)

Location: Based at Newton Heath (M40 2TP
)

Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of Employability Coordinators and Digital Support Officers
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and professional development to staff
  • Oversee caseloads and ensure targets and KPIs are achieved across multiple contracts
  • Carry a small caseload to support capacity and model best practice
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, training providers, funders, and referral partners
  • Contribute to strategy, identify funding opportunities, and support bid writing
  • Monitor and evaluate performance using CRM and distance-travelled tools such as Work Star
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, diversity, inclusion, and funder requirements
  • Manage budgets, resources, and accurate reporting
Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing employability or related services
  • Demonstrable success meeting performance targets and quality standard
  • Skilled in supporting people with complex barriers into sustainable work
  • Strong understanding of employability strategies and local labour market trends
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills
  • Confident using IT systems including CRM and Microsoft Office
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and improve performance
  • Values‑driven, patient, and non‑judgmental with a focus on empowerment
  • Knowledge of Data Protection, Confidentiality, and Safeguarding
  • Level 6 or higher qualification in management, IAG/CIAG, or IEP
  • Experience in recruitment and employer engagement
  • Bid writing or fundraising experience
  • Partnership working and external presenting skills
  • Full UK driving licence
