Salary: Circa £32,000 per year
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (interim applicants considered)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday–Friday (flexible working considered)
Location: Based at Newton Heath (M40 2TP
)

- Lead and motivate a team of Employability Coordinators and Digital Support Officers
- Provide supervision, coaching, and professional development to staff
- Oversee caseloads and ensure targets and KPIs are achieved across multiple contracts
- Carry a small caseload to support capacity and model best practice
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, training providers, funders, and referral partners
- Contribute to strategy, identify funding opportunities, and support bid writing
- Monitor and evaluate performance using CRM and distance-travelled tools such as Work Star
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, diversity, inclusion, and funder requirements
- Manage budgets, resources, and accurate reporting
- Proven experience managing employability or related services
- Demonstrable success meeting performance targets and quality standard
- Skilled in supporting people with complex barriers into sustainable work
- Strong understanding of employability strategies and local labour market trends
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills
- Confident using IT systems including CRM and Microsoft Office
- Analytical skills to interpret data and improve performance
- Values‑driven, patient, and non‑judgmental with a focus on empowerment
- Knowledge of Data Protection, Confidentiality, and Safeguarding
- Level 6 or higher qualification in management, IAG/CIAG, or IEP
- Experience in recruitment and employer engagement
- Bid writing or fundraising experience
- Partnership working and external presenting skills
- Full UK driving licence
