FLT Counter Balance Driver

Proman is currently recruiting for a FLT Counter Balance Driver for our client in Salford – a leading manufacturer of hygiene, baby and beauty products.

This role involves operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently, alongside general FLT-related warehouse duties. Responsibilities include loading and unloading deliveries, moving stock around the warehouse and yard, stacking and storing goods correctly, and supporting overall warehouse operations.

• Hold a valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-date and accredited)
• Have previous experience in a similar FLT role
• Be confident working in a fast‑paced warehouse environment
• Demonstrate strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Be reliable, punctual, and a good team player

Our client operates a 3‑week shift rotation listed below:

Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7am‑7pm – Days

Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7pm‑7am – Nights

Week 3 – Thursday and Friday 7pm‑7am – Nights

Successful candidates need to be able to work all shifts listed above.

When working on days, the pay rate is £14.75 per hour. On nights, the rate is £18.26. Overtime is paid after the completion of 36.5 hours per week.
