Plumber

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Plumber in HMP Manchester, 1 Southall Street, Manchester, M60 9AH
.

Standard hours: 39 hours per week. Staff work a rota basis between Saturday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00;
Friday 08:00 - 16:00. Work one in four weekends on a rota basis with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary.

• Routine and non-routine maintenance.
• Mains water supply repairs.
• Fault finding, identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
• Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.

• Full driving licence.
• Experience in a commercial environment.
• Experience operating light plant.
• NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating is preferred (we may consider NVQ level
  2).
• Legionella Control (L8) is desirable.
