In this role, you’ll use your technical expertise to maintain critical plant, equipment, and control systems—helping us provide a safe, comfortable, and compliant environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

You’ll work both independently and as part of a wider multi‑skilled team, responding to planned maintenance tasks as well as urgent issues where your quick thinking and technical know‑how make a real difference.

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to diagnose faults accurately and recommend effective repair or replacement solutions.
  • Commitment to working safely, adhering to Health & Safety, Infection Control, and Permit to Work procedures at all times.
  • Confidence working alone when required, following Lone Working policies and using initiative in pressured situations.
  • Clear communication skills, enabling you to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and other site teams.
  • Experience completing accurate written documentation including activity logs, reports and verification records.
  • A flexible, customer‑focused mindset with the ability to prioritise workload in fast‑paced environments.
What You'll Do
  • Carry out planned, reactive, statutory and corrective maintenance across a range of HVAC systems to required standards.
  • Service, test, diagnose, repair and calibrate advanced mechanical and electrical installations and plant equipment.
  • Use BMS and CAFM systems to support fault‑finding, reporting, and optimising plant operation.
  • Respond rapidly to emergencies, taking immediate corrective action to maintain safety and service continuity.
  • Provide technical advice to colleagues and contractors, ensuring safe working practices and compliance with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records including repair reports, verification logs and activity tracking.
  • Support stock management by requesting equipment and materials needed for maintenance and repairs.
  • Engage with clients to ensure service expectations are met and contractual requirements maintained.
