Evening Cleaner​/Housekeeper - Salford

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Site-Based Evening Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our team at Lancaster House, Salford. In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site. Your efforts will directly contribute to the health, hygiene, and comfort of the residents and staff at each site. Approved Premises play a key role in supporting individuals released from prison, offering enhanced supervision and rehabilitation within the community.

This role will give you insight into working in a residential setting with vulnerable and complex individuals, providing meaningful work that supports positive change.

• Focus on the details and complete a list of scheduled cleaning tasks
• Periodic deep cleaning of certain areas, instructed by supervisor
• Ensure all areas, including kitchens, toilets, and communal areas, are cleaned and presentable
• Replenish stock and consumables such as toilet tissue and hand soaps
• Work closely with the security team, reporting any faults or hazards while helping maintain the cleanliness of their areas
• Maintain an approachable attitude and provide a high standard of cleanliness and service
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential; training will cover health and safety.
