Maintenance Plumber Band 4 Job overviewWe are looking for a fully skilled and qualified Plumber to join our team based at Prestwich hospital with a salary of £27,485 - £30,162,
with an additional 3% retention and recruitment premia (RRP) reviewed per annum, there will also be the opportunity for overtime and callout payments.
To work within the maintenance team providing reactive, planned and emergency Plumbing maintenance using skills in carrying out a wide and varied spectrum of tasks efficiently, to the required quality standard and within your own competence and safety limits.
Please note - This role is not eligible for sponsorship unless you meet criteria by temporary exemption from current changes to immigration rules put in force on 22/07/2025. Separate provisions are applied to workers who have been sponsored and held continuously Skilled Worker visa since prior to 04/04/2024.
Main duties of the jobTo work within the maintenance team providing Plumbing reactive and emergency maintenance using your skills in carrying out a wide and varied spectrum of tasks, efficiently, to the required quality standard and within your own competence and safety limits.

- 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays rising to 29 after 5 years and 33 days after 10 years
- Time served tradesman in building or engineering and with basic skills in other trades.
- To be flexible and creative enough to undertake a wide and varied spectrum of tasks
- BTEC level, NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds
