Location: Salford

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Site Officer to join our team and help us maintain the high standards that make our school such a special place. You’ll work closely with the Site Officer from our partner Infant School to ensure both sites are safe, secure, and ready for learning every day, but you will also need to work independently and on your own initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and repairs
  • Keeping our school secure, clean, and safe
  • Supporting health and safety checks and ensuring the safety of the site
  • Helping set up for school events and activities
  • Working as part of a friendly, supportive team
Qualifications & Skills
  • Practical skills and a hands‑on approach
  • A team player with good communication skills
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and cares about creating a great environment for children and who is happy to work inside and outside whatever the weather
  • Someone who is proactive and can manage their own workload, using their own initiative to get the job done
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines

Hours

Monday‑Thursday: 10:30am – 6:30pm
Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
Occasional late closing as well as two Saturdays in the year to cover school events (paid as overtime or time in lieu).
