Position: Housing Disrepair Lawyer
Housing Disrepair Solicitor Greater Manchester/ Hybrid Our client, a leading law firm, is seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Lawyer to join their expanding department. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven legal professional to manage their own caseload, deliver outstanding client service, and achieve strong legal outcomes on behalf of tenants.

Key Responsibilities ;
Manage a full caseload of Housing Disrepair matters from instruction to completion. Conduct legal research and provide clear, accurate advice to clients. Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and other key documents. Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings where required. Handle litigation from pre-action through to trial, including liaising with defendants, experts, and opposing solicitors. Assess liability and quantum, obtain expert evidence, and prepare schedules of loss.

Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement meetings as needed. Use case management systems and digital workflows efficiently (Proclaim experience advantageous). Support and supervise a small sub-team where required. Stay up to date on relevant case law, legislation, and procedural developments. Person Specification;
