Industrial Disease Solicitor Manchester 0-8 PQE Hybrid Working

A highly regarded, specialist Asbestos Litigation team is seeking a Solicitor to join their Manchester office. The team is recognised as a leader in asbestos and industrial disease claims and is consistently ranked in the top tiers of Chambers UK and the Legal 500, and the team works closely with leading asbestos support organisations.

As an Industrial Disease Solicitor, you will:

• Manage your own caseload of asbestos-related claims, with a particular focus on mesothelioma, while also taking on new matters as they arise.
• Meeting clients and taking, drafting and reviewing witness statements.
• Preparing instructions to medical and other experts.
• Preparing schedules of loss and damage.
• Dealing with CFAs and funding arrangements.
• Reviewing and analysing medical records.

What we are looking for:

• A Solicitor with 0-8 years' PQE
• Excellent client care skills, with the ability to support clients who may be vulnerable or distressed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including confidence with telephone-based client contact.
• Good IT literacy.
• A proactive, team-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
