Causation Litigation Executive
Location: Salford | Hybrid | Permanent
A leading national law firm is looking for a Causation Litigation Executive to join its specialist counter‑fraud team. This is a great opportunity to work within a high‑performing department handling a varied and fast‑paced caseload.
The role:
- Manage your own caseload across DA and non‑DA fraud and causation matters (approx. 80/20 split)
- Work to SLAs, court deadlines and CPR requirements
- Conduct advocacy on applications and case management conferences
- Identify fraudulent activity and collaborate with intelligence teams
- Provide clear, accurate advice to insurer clients
- Maintain MI reports and manage databases
- Negotiate with solicitors, clients and insurers
- Keep your legal knowledge up to date through ongoing training
About you:
- Experience managing a varied litigation caseload
- Knowledge of personal injury law (defendant experience advantageous)
- Strong understanding of the insurance sector
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to think creatively
- Confident communicator with advocacy experience
- Skilled in case management systems and legal documentation
- Motivated, proactive and a strong team player
