Overview
You will be supporting the Corporate Practice Group providing secretarial and administration support. You ll be reporting into the Secretarial Services Manager and will be working alongside Partners and Associates and other Secretaries. Occasionally, you may be expected to provide support to other teams as and when required.
Our OpportunityThis role would be ideal for someone who has Corporate experience and is currently carrying out administration and secretarial duties within an office environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct client inceptions
- Undertake in-depth billing and deal with payment forms
- Work on documentation and dictation
- Deal with expenses, arrange travel for the fee-earners
- Get involved in the daily tasks of a busy law firm
- Receive full training to enable you to undertake monthly billing
- Keep all client files up to date and ensure paper and electronic filing is up-to-date
- Maintain a positive and professional approach at all times
- After successful probation, work remotely one day per week (set day with some flexibility to meet team needs)
- Support other departments when required
- Be organised, proactive, able to prioritise, and use initiative with limited supervision
- Juggle priorities as a self-starter
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of Microsoft packages, good keyboard skills, and a keen eye for detail
- Have at least 2 years experience of working in a professional service firm with some Corporate experience
